Credit Advisor

Function

As a Credit Adviser at the Zottegem branch, you will assist customers in achieving their financial goals. You will advise them on the best financing options for their personal projects, whether that involves buying a house, a car or other items.

Your responsibilities will include, amongst other things:

• Advising customers around credit solutions (consumer loans, home loans, etc.)
• Analysing cases and assessing repayment capacity.
• Preparing and following up on credit applications.
• Providing support across the wider range of banking and insurance services.
• Actively engaging with customers and responding to their needs.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships.
• Independently monitoring and finalising cases.

Profile

For the role of credit adviser, you will recognise yourself in the following characteristics:

• A completed degree in an economics discipline.
• You are in possession of a PCP-Attest.
• Good command of the Dutch language.
• Enthusiastic team player with a customer-oriented and correct attitude.
• Some initial experience in the field of credit is a major advantage.

Our client is an independent branch of a leading Belgian banking and insurance group that has been operating in the Belgian market for over 60 years. The branch in Zottegem offers local customers a wide range of financial services, from bank accounts and loans to investment advice and insurance.

You will be joining a team of five colleagues, each with their own specialism in banking, insurance, loans and/or investments. To support the firm’s growth, they are currently looking for a new colleague to join the loans department.
