Production Manager

Function

As Production Manager, you are the driving force behind the success of our production operations. You’ll be at the helm of a diverse team and will help to create an efficient and optimal production environment. With your leadership-driven approach, you’ll ensure that quality standards are met, projects are delivered and processes are optimised. Your responsibilities will include:

• Defining and implementing short- and medium-term strategies for production and operations.
• Ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of products to customers.
• Organising staff deployment (around 50 employees) and machine capacity on the basis of production planning.
• Analysing bottlenecks in production capacity and initiating improvement measures where necessary.
• Guiding and motivating staff and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Leading optimisation projects and initiating investments in new technologies and machinery.
• Ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Profile

For this challenging role, we are looking for an experienced professional who has mastered the art of people management and is confident and self-assured. The ideal candidate will have:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably supplemented by relevant experience.
• At least 10 years’ experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and a proven ability to inspire, coach and develop teams.
• Fluency in Dutch, with a good command of English. Knowledge of French and/or German would be an advantage.
• Analytical skills to translate data and figures into concrete actions.
• Flexibility to work outside normal office hours when required by the shifts. The role itself is a day shift, but as work is carried out 24/7 in shifts, it is advisable to support the night and weekend shifts from time to time.
• Experience with ERP systems and common PC applications.
• A hands-on approach and the drive to achieve results.
