Insurance advisor

Function

As an Insurance Adviser, you will be responsible for both the sale and the after-sales management of non-life insurance policies. You will manage your own client portfolio and ensure that clients can always count on accurate and personalised service.

Your duties will include:

• Advising clients on non-life insurance for private individuals and small businesses.
• Drawing up new insurance files and further developing existing policies.
• Monitoring claims files, both administratively and in terms of content, from the initial claim submission through to settlement.
• Assist customers with their enquiries and advise them on the most suitable insurance solutions.
• Processing incoming enquiries and scheduling appointments.
• Working together with colleagues to offer customers a comprehensive solution.
• Contributing ideas on ways to further improve our services.

The focus is on providing high-quality advice to customers. There is currently a strong influx of new customers, which means that prospecting plays only a limited role.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for someone who thrives on customer contact and enjoys taking responsibility for their cases.

Ideally, you should have:

• Some initial experience in non-life insurance or a similar role.
• Knowledge of BOAR insurance policies.
• A customer-focused and solution-oriented approach.
• Good communication skills.
• A sense of initiative and a sense of responsibility.
• A team-oriented attitude and the motivation to achieve results together.
• A healthy dose of commercial acumen without having a distinctly sales-oriented profile.
• A flexible attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile for the customer.
