Bookkeeper

Function

As an Accountant, your specific responsibilities will include:

• keeping the accounts from A to Y, with scope to progress to A to Z.
• posting purchase and sales invoices.
• preparing and finalising VAT returns.
• support with monthly and annual account closures.
• work closely with the external accountancy firm to ensure a smooth reconciliation process.

Profile

For this role, you will recognise yourself in the following:

• You have a good grounding in accountancy; school leavers are also welcome.
• You take the initiative and enjoy working independently.
• You have a basic knowledge of French.
• You’re good with software and pick up new systems quickly.
• You are hands-on, discreet and enjoy contributing ideas to the organisation.
