Civil Engineering and Buildings Estimator

Function

As Civil Engineering and Buildings Calculator You will play a key role in our tender team. Drawing on your experience and insight, you will be responsible for compiling comprehensive tender documents and preparing feasible quotations that meet our clients’ requirements. You will analyse dossiers, assess technical and organisational feasibility, and propose strategies in consultation with senior management. You will also work closely with suppliers, subcontractors and the in-house team to deliver the best solutions. You will regularly visit construction sites to monitor your projects closely and share best practices once projects have been completed.

Profile

We are looking for a professional with the following qualifications and skills for this role:

• A a degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in buildings and/or civil engineering works.
• Attention to detail, punctuality and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Creativity in tackling complex projects with innovative solutions.
• A natural inclination towards taking responsibility and ownership within projects.
