Demand Planner

Function

• Drawing up, monitoring and adjusting demand forecasts based on sales figures, trends, promotions and seasonal factors.
• Analysing historical data and market signals to detect fluctuations in demand at an early stage.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to optimise stock levels, deliveries and availability.
• Identifying risks, shortfalls or surpluses and making proposals for corrective action.
• Actively contribute to improvements in planning, processes and reporting.
• Contributing ideas to create a more efficient and sustainable supply chain, from grower to shop shelf.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for an analytical and eager-to-learn Demand Planner who is keen to roll up their sleeves and switch effortlessly between working with data and people. You don’t need to be a seasoned expert just yet, but you do need to be keen to develop in an environment where speed, precision and collaboration are key.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in an analytical, economic, logistics or similar field.
• A strong interest in planning, forecasting, the supply chain or data analysis.
• Good knowledge of Excel; experience with planning or ERP systems would be a plus.
• An analytical mindset and the ability to translate figures into clear courses of action.
• Good communication skills and a collegial, solution-focused attitude.
• The ability to set priorities in an environment where both speed and quality are important.
• A proactive attitude, an eye for detail and the drive to make processes more efficient.

Experience in FMCG, food or retail is an advantage, but it’s your enthusiasm for learning and helping to build the business that really makes the difference.
