Designer

Function

Within the Design & Engineering team, you play a key role in drawing out reinforcement and formwork plans. You do this in a team spread across our three office locations. What can you expect?

• First of all, you will convert client assignments into digital designs using Strakon and AutoCAD.
• You will also draw up various technical plans, such as reinforcement, formwork and site layout plans. This also includes detailed plans for execution.
• You then determine quantities, such as volumes and weights of concrete and reinforcement.
• In addition, you will create 3D models and ensure alignment within the BIM Coordination Model.
• You regularly coordinate the design with Project Managers and clients.
• Furthermore, you will work with Topography and support project teams in using BIM tools. You will also consult regularly with our Stability Engineers.
• Finally, you prepare As-Built plans and OTL-compliant As-Builts.

Profile

• At least you have an A2 diploma within a technical field.
• Furthermore, you have at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• In addition, you have a good knowledge of AutoCAD; knowledge of Strakon and/or Revit is a nice touch.
• Moreover, you work accurately and possess strong analytical skills.
• Independently you can tackle projects with the necessary entrepreneurship.
• Language skills are in Dutch, and a basic knowledge of French is an added advantage.
• Finally, you are willing to work from one of our three office locations: Neder-Over-Heembeek, Sint-Truiden or Eke.
