Dispatcher

Function

As a dispatcher, you will be responsible for international follow-ups. You will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

• You will be responsible for carrying out all operational and administrative tasks in the company related to transport;
• You will be a coordination point and point of contact for carriers, drivers;
• You track drivers and subcontractors to ensure deliveries are made on time;
• You will be responsible for processing orders in relevant systems;
• You will support daily planning and contribute to obtaining the best possible solution;
• Ensure customer satisfaction through your problem-solving skills and risk mitigation;
• You will see to it that the customer's requirements are met within the set deadline, the necessary communication with all parties involved in this is done, and provide both follow-up and feedback on this;
• You will ensure that the company's operations are in line with legal requirements and that the standards specified by ISO and SQAS are maintained.

Profile

As a dispatcher, you have the following qualities:

• Can you communicate fluently and have a great deal of problem-solving ability?
• Are you precise;
• You are a team player, but can also work independently.
• You work fluently with a PC and have a good knowledge of the MS Office package;
• You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and English;
• You have a basic knowledge of logistics;
• You are willing to maintain telephone permanence in a changeover system with your colleagues;
• Geographical knowledge of France & Benelux is a plus.
