Freight forwarder

Function

As freight forwarder ben je verantwoordelijk voor de planning op verschillende landen, je staat in voor de volgende taken:

• You will draw up the day-to-day international schedule;
• You’ll step in to help out in various countries when staff are on leave or when things get busy;
• You optimise trips and routes, focusing on profitability and efficiency;
• You interact with customers, international partners and drivers;
• You solve operational problems and quickly anticipate changes;

Profile

Are you the freight forwarder what we are looking for?

• Je hebt een eerste ervaring als expediteur of ervaring in een gelijkaardige logistieke functie;
• You have a good geographical knowledge of Europe;
• You can express yourself professionally in Dutch and English, knowledge of French is a plus;
• You cope well with stressful situations and can move quickly when changes occur;
• You are flexible, hands-on and have strong communication skills;
• You are comfortable with MS-Office, knowledge of ERP is a plus.

They have a strong presence in high-demand sectors such as fashion (fashion), cosmetics and food supplements, in which they provide customised and value-added services such as pick & pack, personalised packaging, returns management and omnichannel fulfilment.
