Financial Controller

Function

As a Financial Controller, you will support the accountant and play a key role in financial reporting and analysis. You will ensure that management has access to accurate and timely information.

Your responsibilities will include:

• You will be responsible for analytical accounting and various management reports.
• You will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports for management and head office.
• You analyse financial risks and help to monitor the organisation’s financial health.
• You will draw up budgets and cash flow forecasts as part of your CFO responsibilities.
• You will review public procurement contracts and tenders and ensure that the necessary documentation is submitted on time.
• You will coordinate the back office, which consists of three staff members responsible for quotations and invoicing.

• You have a master’s-level level of thinking, preferably supplemented by relevant experience.
• You think logically and analytically and work with precision.
• You are hands-on, independent and flexible.
• You have sufficient strategic insight to interpret financial information and translate it into business terms.
• You feel at home in an SME environment and enjoy working closely with management.
• You are a team player and fit in well with a friendly, family-like team atmosphere.
• You speak Dutch and French fluently. Knowledge of English would be an advantage.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision is an asset.

Organisation

Our client is based in Zaventem and has a team of 32 staff members. You will be joining a close-knit SME environment where you will hold a prominent position within the management team.
