Freight forwarder for road transport

Function

For the vacancy for a Freight Forwarder specialising in road transport at our client’s company, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• You will be responsible for drawing up the route schedule efficiently and engaging the necessary partners to outsource assignments
• You check the transport orders and enter them into the TMS
• You confirm orders with customers and enquire about future work
• You will arrange the necessary transport documentation
• You will monitor shipments and liaise with colleagues as required
• You’ll be working daytime hours from Monday to Friday

Profile

For the vacancy for a Freight Forwarder specialising in road transport, you should recognise yourself in the following competencies:

• You have had a successful first experience in transport planning or dispatching, or have relevant training in this field
• You are able to express yourself professionally in Dutch and English
• You are meticulous, customer-focused and have good computer skills
• You can set priorities and work together with various internal and external parties
