Junior Site Manager

Function

As a Future Site Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to develop into a key role within our dynamic and environmentally conscious organisation through an intensive development programme. Starting in an operational role, you will get to know the inner workings of our site in Erpe-Mere from A to Z, taking on more responsibilities step by step whilst developing your leadership skills. You will work closely with experienced colleagues and managers, and gradually take charge of operational processes. In addition, you’ll actively contribute to optimisation and improvement projects, with innovation and sustainability always at the heart of everything we do.

Main tasks:

• Gaining a thorough understanding of the processes and day-to-day operations on site.
• Taking operational charge and assuming responsibility.
• Developing people management and organisational skills.
• Make an active contribution to improvement projects and increase efficiency.
• Communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Profile

We are looking for a motivated junior professional who is ready to join our organisation and develop into a leadership role. The ideal candidate:

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in science, computer science or a similar field.
• You have 0–3 years’ work experience and are ambitious.
• You are hands-on, keen to learn and take the initiative.
• Strong communication skills and a solution-focused mindset.
• Ambition to progress to a managerial role.
• Flexibility regarding the region of work and a willingness to work on site.
• Proficiency in Dutch (very good), English (good) and French (basic).
