Logistics Clerk

Function

For the vacancy for a Logistics Clerk at our client’s company, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Preparing and checking the necessary transport documentation
• Drawing up a schedule for 6 to 7 in-house drivers and external hauliers
• Checking whether goods in production are ready for dispatch
• Enter data accurately into the company’s own system
• Proactively contributing ideas for improvements to current operations
• Work closely with the transport manager and other internal departments
• You will work daytime hours from Monday to Friday, from 7.30 am to 4.00 pm (these are negotiable)

Profile

For the vacancy for a Logistics Clerk at our client’s company, you should recognise yourself in the following competencies:

• You have a qualification or experience in logistics, transport or a similar administrative role
• A good knowledge of Dutch and English; knowledge of French is an advantage
• A hands-on approach and a willingness to contribute ideas towards finding solutions
• You’re good at planning and can keep your cool when things get busy
