Logistics Manager

Function

For the vacancy of Logistics Manager at our client’s company, you will be responsible for the following range of duties:

• You will be responsible for planning and monitoring the journeys of three in-house drivers and external partners
• You draw up your schedule based on the picking slips for the various branches that you receive
• The two large lorries cover the whole of Belgium and the Netherlands, whilst the smaller lorry delivers to Brussels, Antwerp and Ghent
• You notify the warehouse of the deliveries and ensure that they have everything ready on time
• Incoming goods are received by the warehouse staff, and you process everything in the ERP system to ensure accurate stock management
• You’ll work from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, with an hour’s break between 12 noon and 1 pm

Profile

For the role of Logistics Manager, you should recognise yourself in the following competencies:

• You have had an initial positive experience in transport planning and are familiar with working in a warehouse environment
• You have good communication skills and can express yourself professionally in Dutch, English and French
• You’re able to work well independently and have a hands-on approach
• You’re good with computers and are meticulous when it comes to administrative tasks
