Logistics Planner

Function

For our client in Diepenbeek We are looking for a Logistics Planner. As a Logistics Planner, you play a key role in coordinating domestic and international transport operations.

• You will ensure that products are delivered to customers worldwide on time and correctly.
• You’ll maintain close contact with hauliers, production, the warehouse and customers to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
• As well as drawing up transport schedules, you will also be responsible for optimising vehicle utilisation and logistics processes.
• In addition, you will carry out administrative tasks such as processing transport orders in the ERP system.
• Finally, you will act as a backup to the Logistics & Export Officer when preparing transport and export documentation.

Profile

For the position of Logistics Planner at our client’s premises in Diepenbeek We are looking for a candidate who identifies with the following expectations:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience.
• 3–5 years’ relevant work experience in a role as a logistics planner, transport planner or similar.
• Experience in national and international transport planning and knowledge of transport and export documents (such as CMRs).
• Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
• A proactive and solution-focused mindset, with the ability to keep a clear overview whilst under time pressure.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is an advantage.

Offer

For the position of Logistics Planner offers our client in Diepenbeek the following package:

• A gross salary based on experience, ranging from €3,000 to €4,000.
• Eco-vouchers with a maximum value of €250 per year.
• Group and hospitalisation insurance.
• 13th month.
• A full-time contract based on a 38-hour week.
• A role within an international and multicultural working environment where colleagues are occasionally treated to a visit from a chips or ice-cream van
