Logistics supervisor

Function

For the job of logistics supervisor ben je verantwoordelijk voor de gehele logistieke stroom daarnaast ben je verantwoordelijk voor de volgende taken:

• You will be responsible for a team of four operators and one shift manager;
• You will ensure the daily flow of trucks to be unloaded, making sure everything circulates smoothly and that raw materials are unloaded at the right location;
• You plan unloading quays based on the expected arrival of raw materials and you are in daily contact with the logistics dispatch;
• Each unloading order must be processed administratively (20%) together with the shift manager;
• You will ensure efficient work distribution, have an active presence on the shop floor (80%) and intervene where necessary;
• At busy times or during absences, you will help load and unload yourself;
• You will contribute to the personal development and safety awareness of your entire team;
• You coach your team by holding regular evaluation interviews, setting up training programmes and keeping the competence matrix up to date.

Profile

For the job of logistiek supervisor herken je jezelf in onderstaande:

• You have relevant experience in a logistics/production environment;
• You hold a forklift certificate (can also be obtained internally);
• A chaotic warehouse environment does not deter you;
• You communicate fluently in Dutch, French and English;
• You are a people manager: coaching and leadership are totally your thing, but so is hands-on cooperation with your team;
• Preferably, you are familiar with an ERP system and MS-Office holds no secrets for you;
• Je hebt geen 9-to-5 mentaliteit en bent flexibel - je start om 7h.
