Function

As Logistics Team Lead, Customer Service You will be responsible for the following tasks:

• You will be managing a team of four customer service staff;
• You will allocate the various cases amongst your colleagues, and you will have overall responsibility;
• You bring structure to the team, make adjustments where necessary and provide feedback to help them reach the next level;
• You optimise current working practices by organising things digitally wherever possible;
• If customers experience any problems, you take responsibility and visit them;
• 50%: You’ll be actively contributing to the team.

Profile

Are you the Logistics Team Lead, Customer Service what we are looking for?

• You have relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within transport or logistics;
• Ideally, you will have experience of managing, supervising and coordinating staff;
• You express yourself fluently in Dutch, French and English;
• You are able to deal with different personalities and provide feedback when necessary;
• You take responsibility for your team and come up with solutions yourself;
• You are assertive and are not afraid to make clear agreements with customers and ensure they are adhered to;
• You take a critical look at the current way of working and identify opportunities and areas for improvement.

Organisation

Our client is a medium-sized Belgian transport and logistics company specialising in groupage transport to and from France and the UK. With their own cross-dock facility in Erpe-Mere and soon a new site in Kruisem, they provide efficient transport solutions. Besides groupage, they also offer full trailer transport and value added warehousing.

The company has a modern, sustainable fleet of 100 trucks and 150 trailers. Their 20,000 m² warehouse is equipped with the latest technologies and suitable for the food and beverage industry, among others. Service, teamwork, respect and customer focus are key.
