Maintenance Coordinator

Function

As Maintenance Coordinator, you are responsible for drawing up, coordinating and following up maintenance schedules in close cooperation with the production manager. You will organise and monitor the execution of maintenance activities and inspections, and act as a point of contact for external suppliers. All with the aim of ensuring the optimal operation, reliability and availability of technical installations and systems. Your role is essential in implementing and monitoring preventive and corrective maintenance and in supporting continuous improvements.

Key responsibilities:

• Drafting the maintenance policy together with the production manager.
• Careful execution according to house rules, safety regulations (Codex / Arab / AREI) and ISO9001 processes.
• Implementing and managing maintenance policies in maintenance software.
• Performance of calibrations and control activities on measuring and testing equipment.
• Organise and conduct inspections, such as internal and external technical inspections.
• Report on work carried out and time spent.
• Independently perform failure analysis after internal training.
• Consult with manager on technical issues and improvements.

Profile

To be considered for this position, we are looking for a candidate with relevant work experience and skills:

• In possession of a higher degree in a technical/scientific field or equivalent through experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a technical position.
• In-depth knowledge of plant and materials, such as refrigerant gases, refrigerants and storage and handling systems.
• Knowledge of safety regulations (Codex/Arab/AREI) and ISO9001 management system.
• Good computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel) and willingness to master technical software if you have limited knowledge of this (PLC/SCADA/MES).
• Fluent in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
• Possession of certificates such as VCA-basis, forklift, aerial work platform and BA4/BA5 is an asset.
• Able to motivate a team.
• Hands-on mentality and high degree of independence and responsibility.
