Maintenance Coordinator
Function
We are looking for a Maintenance Coordinator for a challenging project in East Flanders. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring and optimising the maintenance policy within a technically complex environment. You will ensure that maintenance activities run smoothly, that machinery and installations remain available to the maximum extent possible, and that tasks are carried out in a timely manner. You combine strong technical insight with a structured, people-focused approach. As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will manage technicians and external contractors, oversee the schedule and act as a link between production, engineering, suppliers and internal stakeholders. Thanks to your oversight, technical issues are addressed quickly and efficiently, with a focus on quality, safety and continuity.
Profile
For this role, we are looking for an experienced technical candidate who is keen to take on responsibility and feels at ease in a dynamic project environment.
- You hold a technical qualification, preferably in a field such as electromechanics, or you have equivalent experience.
- You have at least 5 years’ relevant experience in maintenance management, technical coordination or a similar role.
- Experience in an industrial, manufacturing or maintenance environment is a strong asset.
- You have a good command of Dutch, both spoken and written.
- You are able to work independently, but also work very well as part of a team.
- You are able to manage technicians, internal staff and external parties in a clear and motivating manner.
- You have a solution-oriented mindset and are able to analyse and organise technical problems quickly.
- You are willing to travel up to one hour from your home, including traffic.
We are specifically not looking for a school leaver for this role; experience, maturity and the ability to work independently are essential to succeed in this consultancy and project sourcing environment.
