Maintenance Electrician/Fault Technician

Function

As Maintenance Electrician/Fault Technician at Tienen You will be part of the technical services team at the customer’s site and will help ensure the smooth and safe operation of the industrial installations. You will combine maintenance, problem-solving and technical optimisation in a varied role where you will have a real impact on production continuity every day.

Your duties will include:

• Carrying out maintenance work to industrial installations, adopting a preventative, corrective and, where possible, predictive approach.
• Troubleshooting and rectifying faults so that downtime is kept to a minimum.
• Contributing to improvement processes and put forward proposals to make installations more efficient, safer and more reliable.
• A bit of programming monitor where necessary in order to adjust technical processes or installations.
• Supporting the technical department on site with customers and working alongside fellow technicians and other operational teams.
• Maintaining a vigilant approach to safety and quality in every intervention, whilst adhering to procedures and standards.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for a motivated technician with a keen interest in electromechanics, maintenance and fault-finding. Experience is an advantage, but we also welcome candidates with 0 to 3 years’ experience Those who are technically minded and keen to learn are certainly eligible.

We expect you to:

• a technical training have studied electricity, electromechanics, automation or a similar field;
• electrical faults can analyse and resolve in a targeted manner;
• works meticulously and has an eye for safety, quality and order;
• works effectively both independently and as part of a team;
• is open to a bit of programming and technical optimisations;
• are communicative enough to pass on information accurately to colleagues and line managers;
• are willing to work in an industrial environment in Tienen.

A hands-on approach, a willingness to learn and a sense of responsibility are more important than a long CV. You are someone who doesn’t shy away from problems and enjoys helping to ensure the installations run smoothly.
