• Planning container shipments between the port of Antwerp and Geel.
• Ensure smart and timely scheduling of trips.
• Distributing work to drivers and speaking to them.
• Making appointments and engaging with customers to find solutions.
• A bit of administration: processing incoming documents and informing customers of waiting times.
• Working alongside an energetic team to keep everything running smoothly!

Profile

We are looking for an enthusiastic and inquisitive candidate who meets these points:

• A first experience in container transport? That's a nice touch!
• Knowledge of the port of Antwerp and its quays? Definitely a plus.
• You are well-versed in driving and rest period legislation.
• Administrative strength and an eye for detail? That is exactly what we are looking for.
• Flexibility comes with it: working shifts and no strict 9-to-5 schedule is not a problem for you.
• You speak and write Dutch and French fluently, and can get along well in English.
• MS Office and Outlook? These are tools you work with effortlessly.
• You like to think in solutions, are stress-resistant and take initiative.

Organisation

Our client is a well-known value in the transport world. The company was founded in 1998 with 1 truck and 1 semi-trailer. Today, they operate throughout the EU with 200 trucks and 350 trailers. Meanwhile, they are also part of a major European player. This without losing their family character.

Besides container transport, they also have tilt-trailers which are used for full and groupage loads between Belgium and France as well as between Belgium and Romania.
