Planner

Function

As Planner Resources You ensure that the right driver and lorry are in the right place at the right time. You keep track of everything and ensure that the schedule remains feasible in practice.

Your range of tasks:

• Driver scheduling: you schedule drivers and lorries efficiently
• You do it every day drivers’ magazine and makes sure everyone knows what’s on the agenda
• You take into account the driving and rest periods when drawing up the schedule
• You’ll be communicating directly with the drivers and monitors any changes or issues
• You make the necessary counts and analyses: How many journeys are there and how many lorries are available?
• You will monitor the deployment of available resources, including for road rights
• If there are any changes to the schedule, you adapt quickly and look for a suitable solution

Profile

Who are you?

• For this role, we are primarily looking for someone who keeps a cool head and likes to think ahead
• You have a strong organisational skills and knows better than anyone how to bring order
• Planning and problem-solving come quite naturally to you
• You are motivated and keen to learn
• You communicate fluently and professionally with various stakeholders
• You speak Dutch, French and English
• You are able to cope well with stress and can adapt quickly when plans change
• Experience in transport or planning would be an advantage, but above all your enthusiasm and organisational skills make a difference
