Production planner

Function

As a production planner, you will be responsible for optimising production planning and production and the following range of tasks:

• Operational planning: the quota management process, production planning and inventory planning;
• The MOP team provides input to the Master Planning regarding machine capacity and quotas and takes daily corrective action of planned versus actual volume;
• They also control factory inventory (warehouse capacity) to keep working capital under control;
• Assistance to our Customer Service Centres (CSCs) in order trimming, sequencing and fine-tuning together with CSCs, Supply Chain team and Dispatch;
• Actively seek customer solution in case of rush order;
• Tracking, under- and overproduction and inform CSC;
• Information on production delays;
• Strive for a harmonised way of working in processes and operations.

Profile

You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study, and preferably have experience in production planning and/or supply chain processes;

• You are enthusiastic, dynamic, hands-on and results-oriented. You know how to set the right priorities and follow up files very accurately;
• You always work in a process-oriented and systematic way. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a proactive work attitude;
• You enjoy and work easily within a team;
• You are customer-oriented. Thanks to your communication skills, both in Dutch and English, you know how to enter into dialogue smoothly;
• You are fluent with all kinds of IT systems.

Organisation

Our client manufactures 555,000 tonnes of newsprint and magazine paper annually based on 100% recycled paper. Besides continuous product improvement, we focus on recycling and developing renewable energy. Energy production at our site is based on biomass combustion.
