Project Engineer

Function

Are you passionate about sustainable technology and want to play a key role in innovative construction projects? As a Project Engineer, you will have the opportunity to integrate energy efficiency and sustainability into technical design and implementation processes. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating and monitoring technical HVAC, electrical and sanitary installations within construction projects. You will work closely with a dynamic team of engineers and technicians and contribute to innovative solutions that optimise the balance between comfort, energy efficiency and cost.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Analyse and execute projects within set deadlines and budgets;
• Designing and sizing technical installations in collaboration with project managers and engineers;
• Prepare budget estimates for installations and coordinate integrations of various technical disciplines;
• Attend meetings with architects, clients and project managers, and actively contribute to consultation processes;
• Follow up on sites and ensure optimal operation of technical systems;
• Maintaining relationships with customers and partners, and contributing to the company's image and expertise;
• Participate in internal development and attend relevant technical training courses.

Profile

To be successful as a Project Engineer, you bring a mix of skills, knowledge and enthusiasm:

• Bachelor of Electromechanics or an engineering degree in electromechanics, air conditioning, electrical engineering, or equivalent level through experience;
• Passion for sustainability and innovative technical solutions;
• Demonstrated organisational skills, sense of responsibility and an eye for deadlines;
• Social and commercial skills, combined with an inquisitive attitude;
• Experience with the processes of different phases in projects;
• Good knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of Autocad/Revit is a plus;
• Very good knowledge of Dutch. Knowledge of English and French are an asset.
