Project Engineer

Function

• You will be responsible for the full management and coordination of various technical projects in the metalworking sector, from start-up to final handover.
• You will work closely with various departments, including design, production and quality, to develop innovative solutions.
• You analyse technical drawings, specifications and diagrams, and carry out mechanical calculations where necessary.
• You will monitor the schedule, keep track of the budget and ensure that projects progress efficiently in line with agreed arrangements.
• You identify opportunities to improve working methods and processes, and implement optimisations where possible.
• You ensure the quality of all technical work and guarantee that projects are completed to the highest standard.
• You will report on the progress of the projects to management and ensure clear communication within the project teams.
• You keep up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the sector, ensuring that projects are always carried out using state-of-the-art methods.

Profile

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in a technical subject (mechanical engineering, electromechanics, industrial science or similar)
• Relevant work experience as a project engineer or in another technical role is an advantage
• You are interested in mechanical design and carrying out technical calculations
• You can analyse and interpret technical drawings and diagrams
• Strong communication skills, in both Dutch and English
• You work well as part of a team and are results-oriented and enterprising
