Project Manager

Function

In this role, you will take full responsibility for projects relating to fire detection and fire safety, from design and preparation through to implementation and handover. You will be the main point of contact for clients, technicians, subcontractors and internal colleagues. Drawing on your technical knowledge and structured approach, you will oversee the quality, scheduling and progress of each project. You will ensure that projects are carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with the applicable standards.

Your responsibilities:

• You will contribute to the design and technical development of projects in accordance with the applicable standards and guidelines.
• You will plan, coordinate and monitor projects from start to finish.
• You will manage technicians and subcontractors and ensure smooth collaboration.
• You will oversee the schedule, the supply of materials and the progress of the works.
• You will check the quality of the installations carried out and make adjustments where necessary.
• You will ensure compliance with safety regulations and legal requirements.
• You will take part in site and project meetings and liaise with all relevant parties.
• You will be responsible for all project administration, including quotations, purchase orders, cost analysis and financial monitoring.
• You will ensure that projects are delivered and completed correctly.
• You’ll actively contribute ideas on how to improve processes and project operations.

Profile

We are looking for a driven and technically-minded professional who is keen to take on responsibility within a challenging project environment. You combine a technical interest with a structured approach and feel at home in a role that brings together technology, planning, communication and follow-up. Experience as a Project Manager is not essential. More important are your technical grounding, your sense of responsibility and your motivation to develop further within fire detection and fire protection.

Your profile:

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical subject, or have equivalent experience.
• You have an interest in electrical engineering and a desire to learn more about fire detection and security technology.
• You have excellent communication skills and enjoy working with customers, technicians and colleagues within the company.
• You work in a structured manner, maintain an overview and are able to manage several projects at the same time.
• You are solution-oriented, take the initiative and are not afraid to take on responsibility.
• You are proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and pick up new systems quickly.
• You speak Dutch fluently; knowledge of French and English would be an advantage.
• You are willing to undertake training and further develop your technical knowledge.
