Project Manager

Function

As a Project Manager, you are the key link between the sales team and the delivery of state-of-the-art packaging machines and automation lines. You take responsibility for the entire process: from order to successful installation at the customer’s site. In this dynamic technical and operational role, you will work closely with internal departments such as sales, planning and service, and maintain close contact with customers, the factory and subcontractors.

Tasks:

• Completing an in-house training programme and induction period to familiarise yourself with products and processes
• Supporting the sales team in the delivery of complex projects
• Co-ordinating and monitoring new installations right through to line acceptance
• Monitoring project milestones and ensuring correct handover
• Maintaining close communication with customers and suppliers, both nationally and internationally
• Working together efficiently within the local team of an international organisation

Profile

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical subject (electromechanics or equivalent)
• Several years’ relevant experience as a project manager in engineering, mechanical engineering or automation
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English; French is a major asset
• Experience with MS Office and ERP systems; knowledge of AutoCAD would be a great bonus
• A Category B driving licence so you can travel to visit customers
• Organised, customer-focused, methodical and a true team player
