Project Manager

Function

As Project Manager You will manage your projects from start to finish within an environment where technical expertise, customer focus and precision come together. You will be the point of contact for your client portfolio and will translate their needs into well-thought-out security solutions that work in practice.

You will oversee projects from the initial analysis through to handover and maintenance, ensuring that each project runs smoothly, to a high standard and in accordance with the agreed terms. In doing so, you will combine technical insight with a structured approach and a strong commitment to customer service.

• You analyse the needs of prospective and existing customers and help devise suitable security solutions, such as CCTV, access control, gas detection, intruder detection and fire detection.
• You will be responsible for the analysis and design of projects and will develop the details of the proposals.
• You raise projects for discussion and present them to clients in a clear and professional manner.
• You will closely monitor ongoing projects and keep a close eye on timing, quality, communication and progress.
• You maintain good communication with clients before, during and after the project, and act as a reliable point of contact throughout the entire process.
• You will liaise internally with the administration, technical teams and other relevant parties to ensure the project runs smoothly.
• You will also be responsible for the post-project cost analysis and will help to monitor the commercial and operational quality of your projects.

You will be working in a B2B environment across a range of sectors, such as healthcare, industry, accommodation tourism and heritage properties, where you will have a daily impact on safety and business continuity.

Profile

We are looking for a driven project manager with a keen interest in technology and safety. You hold a Master’s degree and have several years’ relevant experience in project management. Thanks to your maturity, organisational skills and customer-focused approach, you are able to tackle complex projects in a structured manner and communicate clearly with various stakeholders.

• You have a a Master’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics or civil engineering.
• You have 3 to 5 years’ experience in a relevant role, preferably involving project follow-up.
• You have experience in drawing up and reading plans in Autocad.
• Ideally, you will have some professional experience within the security sector.
• Knowledge of security products is a strong asset.
• You are strong customer, with good communication skills and a professional demeanour.
• You combine analytical thinking with a practical, solution-oriented approach.
• You work with precision, plan independently and maintain an overview of several cases at the same time.
• You live in West Flanders and you will be required to travel regularly to visit clients in the region and beyond.
• You have a clear a passion for technology and follows new developments in safety and security with interest.
