Mechanics project manager

Function

As a Project Engineer, you will coordinate and organise a variety of technical projects within hydraulic and industrial installations. You will collaborate on installations such as movable bridges, pumping installations, hydropower applications and systems for water treatment and sludge processing.

You offer technical advice and think along with project leaders, engineers and service technicians in a solution-oriented way. In addition, you form an important link between customers, suppliers and internal teams during project execution.

Further:

• maintain contacts with customers and clients;
• you participate in site meetings and follow up appointments meticulously;
• support preparatory project statements;
• coordinate ad hoc orders with purchasing;
• work with designers, draftsmen and suppliers to successfully complete projects.

Profile

• You have an engineering background at master's or bachelor's level in electromechanics.
• Experience is a strong asset.
• You have a strong interest in engineering, innovation and large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Affinity with steel structures, mechanical techniques and assembly processes is a plus.
• You are organisationally strong and monitor quality within your projects.
• You communicate fluently and enjoy working with various internal and external stakeholders.
• You have a hands-on mentality and enjoy taking responsibility.
• Negotiating and following up on agreements during site meetings energise you.
