Service Engineer, Energy Technologies

Function

• Supervising and managing power stations and technical installations for industrial clients
• Coordinating and carrying out maintenance work on energy systems
• Advising and supporting customers on how to operate their installations to the full
• Analysing and resolving faults, malfunctions and incidents at power stations
• Implementing and monitoring health, safety and environmental (HSE) standards
• Reporting incidents and faults, including documentation and follow-up
• Identifying and implementing process optimisations and improvements
• Consulting and negotiating with customers, suppliers and internal teams
• Managing work permits and supervising external contractors during maintenance
• Taking part in an on-call rota

Profile

• Higher technical qualification or experience in electromechanics, energy engineering or industrial automation
• Several years’ relevant practical experience in the maintenance and operation of technical installations, preferably within the energy or utilities sector
• Knowledge of process automation and project management
• Strong communication skills, able to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of other languages is an asset
• Stress-resistant, flexible and proactive
• Willing to work at various locations in Belgium and the Netherlands, alternating with days in the office
