Function

Are you technically strong, independent and ready for a varied range of tasks involving maintenance and repair of forklifts and warehouse trucks? Apply immediately and make a difference at a leading company in the logistics sector!

As a Service Technician, you will specialise in the maintenance and repairs of various types of forklifts and warehouse trucks at customers throughout Belgium. You will leave home daily in a fully equipped service van and return home after your assignments.

Your duties will include:

• Independently perform on-site inspections, maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Carrying out inspections according to the required standards.
• Contact with customers to advise and explain work carried out.
• Close collaboration with a dispatcher who will make your schedule, but you will have freedom to manage your own.
• You get parts via efficient overnight delivery.

Profile

The ideal new colleague:

• Has completed technical training such as a graduate or bachelor's degree in electromechanics or maintenance engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Has knowledge of engines, electricity, mechanics and/or hydraulics.
• Experience with forklifts or warehouse trucks is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Works independently, is eager to learn, flexible and punctual.
• Communicatively strong, customer-oriented and collegial.
• In possession of a driving licence B.
