Function

For site manager at Lummen is looking for the company A dedicated colleague who ensures the smooth running of day-to-day operations on site. In this role, you will be the first point of contact on site and will ensure that work is carried out smoothly, safely and efficiently, with a focus on planning, quality and follow-up.

• You will take charge of the site and oversee the day-to-day planning, organisation and administration.
• You will monitor the implementation in accordance with the plans and specifications, whilst ensuring that the budget, schedule and quality are adhered to.
• You will coordinate your own staff and subcontractors and ensure that everyone is on the same page.
• You will monitor compliance with safety procedures and quality standards.
• You organise toolbox meetings and site inspections, and take proactive action where necessary.
• You will report clearly to the project manager and keep him or her informed of progress, issues and priorities.
• You’ll help come up with practical solutions and contribute to the efficient organisation of the site.

Profile

We are looking for someone for this role the company at Lummen A candidate with a strong technical background and the ambition to develop further within site supervision. You do not need to have years of experience, but you do need the maturity and insight to support a site and manage it in a structured manner.

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, or you have equivalent qualifications through relevant experience.
• Ideally, you will have between 0 and 3 years’ experience in a construction site environment, on building projects or in a similar technical role.
• You have a good understanding of standard working methods, materials and health and safety regulations.
• You are practical, technically minded and solution-oriented.
• You are a good communicator and enjoy working with various parties on site.
• You have strong organisational skills and are not afraid to take the initiative.
• You are meticulous when it comes to follow-up, administration and reporting.
• You have an excellent command of Dutch; knowledge of English and French would be an advantage.
• You are keen to develop your skills further and take on responsibility in a growing workplace.
