Site Supervisor, Piping & Mechanical Works

Function

• You are the main point of contact on site and represent the organisation in dealings with clients and other stakeholders.
• You are responsible for ensuring that the work is carried out correctly, to a high standard and on time.
• During the preparatory phase, you will work closely with the Project Manager on the technical preparation of projects.
• During the project, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the work.
• You will monitor the progress, quality and efficiency of the works.
• You carry out regular checks on site and make adjustments where necessary.
• You will support, supervise and motivate foremen and technicians.
• You actively contribute ideas on how to achieve the best possible implementation and identify potential improvements.
• You identify technical or organisational issues and work with the client to find suitable solutions.
• You will ensure compliance with all applicable safety procedures and work instructions.
• You set a good example yourself when it comes to safety, quality, order and tidiness.
• You will report directly to the Project Manager.
• You will be working on various industrial sites in East and West Flanders.

Profile

• You hold a technical qualification and have extensive technical knowledge.
• You have experience with pipework systems, welding and assembly.
• You have relevant managerial experience, preferably within a technical or industrial environment.
• You can plan, organise, coordinate and monitor tasks efficiently.
• Safety and quality are obvious priorities for you.
• You are proactive and solution-oriented.
• You are able to analyse technical problems quickly and work with the customer to find practical solutions.
• You can guide, support and motivate both experienced and less experienced staff.
• You have excellent communication skills and are able to ensure that the various parties on site are all on the same page.
• You work in a structured manner and are able to maintain a clear overview even in a dynamic working environment.
• You are willing to travel to various industrial sites.
