Stability Engineer

Function

As Structural Engineer (Stability) in the region Bruges You will take responsibility for a wide range of construction projects. You will be involved from the initial concept right through to implementation and, together with your colleagues, will ensure a robust, well-thought-out and high-quality structural analysis.

• You will study, calculate and design solutions for the load-bearing structures of buildings.
• You translate the client’s requirements and the design into a technically feasible, high-quality structural solution.
• You analyse complex issues and actively seek out smart and efficient solutions.
• You will liaise with architects, clients, contractors, suppliers and fellow engineers to achieve the best possible result.
• You will be jointly responsible for compiling and monitoring the entire study file.

Opportunity to progress to the role of team leader or, in the long term, to become the technical point of contact in your role as an engineer during the execution and monitoring of the stability works on site.

• You are Industrial or Civil Engineer (Architecture)
• You are passionate about structural stability and construction engineering, and you want to continue developing your skills in this field.
• Whether working independently or as part of a team, communicating effectively with clients and construction partners is no challenge for you.
• You are interested in sustainable solutions and new developments within the construction sector.

This growing architectural consultancy has been operating in East and West Flanders for over 20 years. With a team of around 25 staff, it works on a wide range of construction projects every day for architects, contractors, developers, public authorities and private individuals.
