Surveying Project Manager

Function

Your duties will include:

• Co-ordinating and carrying out surveying projects.
• Managing and supervising the team.
• Preparing, following up on and checking files.
• Act as a point of contact for clients and colleagues.
• Actively contributing ideas on innovative measurement methods and the optimisation of work processes.
• Focusing on improving efficiency within the organisation.
• Be flexible and step in where necessary to support the team.
• A varied mix of office work (80%) and site visits (20%) for project monitoring.

Profile

The ideal candidate for this role will have three to five years’ relevant experience and a strong interest in surveying, civil engineering or construction. The following skills and qualities are also important:

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A sense of responsibility and an eye for detail.
• A hands-on and proactive approach.
• Knowledge of and experience with measuring equipment are an advantage.
• Willingness to spend 80–90% of the time on administrative and clerical work, with occasional site visits.
• Flexibility to travel for up to 45–60 minutes, with the option to work from home.
