Function

We are looking for a [position] for our client in Lokeren Commercial and Technical Estimator with a solid foundation in HVAC and a clear focus on refrigeration technology. In this role, you will combine technical analysis with a commercial approach and help to develop projects for a broad and demanding client portfolio within non-residential construction and industry. You will play a key role in managing existing clients and projects, with scope to grow further in terms of responsibility and impact. You will work on projects of varying sizes, ranging from smaller assignments worth a few thousand euros to more complex projects worth around €1 million. In doing so, you’ll switch seamlessly between requesting and analysing price enquiries, drawing up quotations and contributing technical input to clients on feasible and efficient solutions.

• Following up on existing customers and technical files
• Drawing up and calculating quotations for new projects
• Issuing price enquiries and identifying commercial opportunities
• Provide technical advice to clients and internal teams
• Contribute to projects focusing on refrigeration technology, supplemented by HVAC applications such as heat pumps
• Make use of MS Office and AutoCAD in the context of cost estimation and file monitoring
• Working using a structured, administratively sound and stress-resistant approach

Profile

For this role, we are looking for an experienced technical-commercial candidate with a qualification and background in HVAC, electromechanics or electrical engineering. You are not an entry-level candidate, but someone withexperience and sufficient maturity to take on cases independently and provide professional support to clients.

Ideally, you will hold a qualification in engineer or Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanics/Electrical Engineering. An option in air conditioning is a major advantage. Experience in the technical sector, preferably in HVAC or refrigeration engineering, is important. You are interested in both existing installations and new projects, and you feel at home in an environment where technical expertise and commercial follow-up go hand in hand.
