Technical assistant - draftsman

Function

As Technical Employee you are the pivotal figure between customer, design and production. Based in Niel, Belgium, you contribute to the creation of unique ceramic slab materials that make a difference in garden design. Using your strong technical skills, you ensure that every project runs smoothly, from sketch to delivery. Important here is that you are primarily a support and administrative expert, not a salesperson. In this role, you will work with Autocad to design and draw kitchen worktops, maintain customer contacts and ensure flawless production planning. You are a crucial link in communication with customers, account managers and kitchen builders.

Specifically, what will you do?

• Design and drawing of ceramic kitchen worktops in Autocad.
• Support customers and account managers with technical advice via e-mail or phone.
• Preparation of quotations, orders and production orders.
• Preparing production and planning deliveries and placements.
• Maintaining contacts with kitchen builders and interior designers.
• Reporting to the Business Unit Manager.

Profile

To be successful in this role, you possess strong technical and communication skills. You have an eye for detail and remain calm and structured, even under pressure. Moreover, you are customer-oriented and know how to build constructive relationships with kitchen builders and architects.

Our expectations:

• Technical skills: Excellent knowledge of Autocad and experience designing kitchen worktops.
• Administrative precision: Accurate and structured work.
• Commercial flair: Customer focus and solution-oriented thinking.
• Language knowledge: Fluent in Dutch and French, both written and oral.
• IT skills: Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and preferably ERP systems such as Business Central.
• Training: Bachelor working and/or thinking level.
