Technical Draughtsman

Function

• Developing environments and structures based on a basic design or draft.
• Interpreting and integrating existing assembly and detailed drawings.
• Designing new structures in accordance with the applicable technical requirements, standards and specifications.
• Critically reviewing drawings and incorporating feedback and additions.
• Managing and carrying out revisions to existing drawings.
• Monitoring the schedule and ensuring that agreed deadlines are met.
• Coordinate the progress of the drafting work during daily meetings.
• Consult with project successors and project managers and adapt designs to the client’s technical requirements.
• Preparing clear component and assembly drawings.
• Compiling, managing and carefully archiving technical drawing files.
• Accurate recording of hours worked per project.
• Building and maintaining a personal library of frequently used technical details.
• Actively maintaining and expanding your technical and subject-specific knowledge.

Profile

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electromechanics or an equivalent technical qualification.
• You have a good knowledge of Autodesk Inventor.
• You work meticulously and have a healthy dose of perfectionism.
• You have a strong technical understanding and can interpret technical information with ease.
• You are a good communicator and enjoy working with a variety of colleagues.
• You take responsibility for the quality and progress of your work.
• You identify with values such as passion, respect, team spirit, craftsmanship and safety.
