Technical and Sales Account Manager

Function

As a Technical-Commercial Account Manager, you will be the point of contact for clients in Flanders. You will combine relationship management, business development and technical support, and oversee projects from initial contact through to implementation. You will visit clients and construction sites, identify commercial opportunities and translate client requirements into appropriate technical solutions. You will work closely with the office team and technical experts on the practical implementation of these solutions.

Your responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining customer relationships within the infrastructure, utilities and industrial sectors.
• Following up on leads, projects and commercial opportunities.
• Analysing customer needs and translating them into technical solutions.
• Working alongside office staff and technical colleagues on enquiries and projects.
• Visiting clients and construction sites and monitoring the progress of projects.
• Identify commercial and technical developments in the market.

You’ll have a great deal of autonomy in your region, but you won’t be on your own. You’ll be working alongside an experienced team and technical colleagues who will support you where necessary.

Profile

We are looking for a technically-minded candidate with a commercial outlook and an interest in infrastructure, construction, utilities or a similar sector.

• Several years’ experience in a technical, commercial or operational role.
• Technical insight and an interest in infrastructure and technical applications.
• Strong in customer relations, prospecting and follow-up.
• Independent, organised and solution-oriented.
• A fluent communicator who is at ease with a variety of people.
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English; French would be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• A Category B driving licence and a willingness to visit customers throughout Flanders.
• A technical qualification is an advantage, but experience and a feel for technology are more important.

Offer

• €5,000 – €6,500 gross per month, depending on experience.
