As a Pricing & Tender Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and managing competitive and well-founded transport rates. You will combine data analysis, cost insights and market information to arrive at clear and reliable pricing models.
In addition, you will coordinate the tender process from start to finish and analyse the results of new and existing transport flows. You will work at the interface between pricing, data analysis, profitability and tender management.
Your range of tasks:
- Developing pricing models: translating costs, volumes and operational parameters into well-founded rates for various transport solutions and markets;
- Managing and optimising pricing: monitoring and updating existing pricing models in line with changing costs, market conditions and operational developments;
- Co-ordinating tenders: analysing tender requests, gathering relevant input, drawing up price proposals and ensuring they are submitted correctly and on time;
- Analysing profitability: monitoring new and existing transport flows and comparing calculated rates with actual performance and costs;
- Turning data into insights: structuring and analysing data in Excel and other business applications, and translating this into clear insights and recommendations for internal stakeholders.
