Transport planner

Function

Together with a team of 15 Transport Planners and Dispatchers, you are responsible for managing the journeys of 100 own drivers and those of external partners. You do this taking into account the following tasks:

• You will start the first months in the role of Dispatcher to get to know all customers, trips and drivers. Does this go smoothly? Then you will make the transition to full Transport Planner.
• They have both covered trailers, frigo trailers and combi trailers but your focus will mainly be on the latter group
• In the beginning as Dispatcher, you will follow up on the drivers' journeys based on the Transport Planner's planning. When you move up to this position after a few months, you will make up this planning yourself.
• The rides are spread across Benelux, Germany and northern France.

Profile

As a future Transport Planner at our client, you recognise yourself in the following competencies:

• You have had your first successful experience as a Transport Planner with your own drivers.
• You can express yourself professionally in Dutch and English.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise under pressure.
• You are willing to work yourself in as a Dispatcher first to get to know the flow, company and customers well.
