Transport planner

Function

As a Transport Planner with our client, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

• After training from your predecessor, you will be responsible for transport planning of tipper transport of metal goods and rice
• You will mainly work from Beveren but will occasionally be present in Boom
• Together with your 2 colleague planners, you are responsible for a fleet of 60 to 75 own drivers and exceptionally 1 subcontracted driver
• Yes analyses the current operation and customer base and actively thinks up improvement proposals
• You start like all planners at 7.30 a.m. and work until it is done (this could be 3 p.m. or once 6.30 p.m. exceptionally)
• You will be available for questions from drivers after work but will be compensated for this

Profile

As a future Transport Planner at our client, you recognise yourself in the following competencies:

• You already have several years of experience in planning tippers
• You can express yourself professionally in Dutch, French and English
• You have good communication skills and can be flexible
• You have no problem with telephone permanence
