Transport planner

Function

As a transport planner, you will plan around 50 trucks together with your four colleagues in the transport team, you will also be responsible for the following:

• You plan full loads daily towards the yards;
• You combine deliveries in a logical and efficient way;
• You will be in close contact with drivers and customers in case of changes;
• In addition to the company's own fleet, you will use external transporters to keep everything on track;
• You maintain smooth communication with production to coordinate loading/unloading;
• You will be responsible for following up and monitoring all current and outgoing orders.

Profile

For the job of transport planner We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with:

• A first experience in a logistics role or you are motivated and have a passion for logistics;
• Fluent knowledge of Dutch, French and English;
• Knowledge of SAP is a big plus;
• Flexibility, you can move quickly when unexpected circumstances arise;
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills;
• An SME mentality!
