Temporary Transport Planner

Function

For the temporary vacancy for a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Planning and allocating daily line haul services to European destinations at the request of customers
• Selecting suitable and approved carriers on the basis of existing rates or ad hoc agreements
• Monitoring deliveries with customers and drivers and passing on the necessary information to customer service
• Recording all process steps in the system
• You’ll be working during the day (flexible working hours and a fixed timetable are both negotiable)

Profile

For the temporary vacancy for a Transport Planner (permanent night shift), you should recognise yourself in the following competencies:

• You have had an initial positive experience in planning or have completed a course in this field
• You should be able to express yourself professionally in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is an advantage but not essential
• You are able to cope well with stress and have strong communication skills
• You are good with a computer
• You are available at short notice and willing to take on a temporary assignment until at least the end of December (with the possibility of an extension)
