Warehouse assistant – night shift or fixed afternoon shift

Function

As Warehouse Assistant in Ardooie You are a key link between the warehouse, production and your colleagues on the shop floor. You ensure that everything ends up in the right place and that the logistics process continues to run smoothly and efficiently.

Some of your tasks:

• You will ensure that the packaging lines are supplied in a timely and efficient manner, so that production can continue without interruption.
• You decide where finished goods find a place for it in the warehouse whilst keeping track of everything.
• You give clear instructions to the forklift truck drivers and steps in whenever they have questions or problems.
• You do this regularly carries out checks in the warehouse and ensures that everything runs smoothly and in an orderly manner.
• You decide where incoming goods be stored safely and efficiently.
• You hold the available storage capacity keep a close eye on things and, together with your team, take action when necessary.
• You will help to ensure a a safe, tidy and pleasant working environment.
• You actively think about smarter and more efficient logistics processes and is not afraid to suggest improvements.
• In short: you keep the warehouse running smoothly, maintain an overview and ensure that everyone has the right goods at the right time.

Profile

You’re someone who enjoys keeps a clear overview, thinks logically and works independently. Do you recognise yourself in this?

• You have a Bachelor's degree in hand, supplemented where appropriate by relevant work experience.
• With MS Office you work smoothly and efficiently.
• You have a strong logical reasoning skills and enjoys contributing ideas to find solutions.
• You speak and write excellent Dutch. Do you speak French or English? If so, that’s an added bonus.
• Working in a cold environment It won’t put you off. You’ll keep your head – and the rest of your body – warm.
• You are willing to work in a regular night shift from 9.30 pm to 5.30 am or a fixed afternoon shift from 1.30 pm to 9.30 pm.
• In short: you value clarity, responsibility and an environment where your logical thinking really comes into its own.
