Warehouse Dispatcher

Function

As Warehouse Dispatcher You are the key link between the warehouse, the transport department, the drivers and the shift supervisors. You ensure that everything ends up in the right place at the right time.

Specifically, you are responsible for:

• Preparing and allocating tasks for the warehouse staff
• Analysing the loading and unloading planning and translate these into clear work instructions
• Setting priorities and adjust the schedule when the situation requires it
• The flow of goods within the warehouse coordinate and monitor
• Supporting the team leaders with operational planning
• The Managing a Terberg driver and submit orders via the internal system
• Determining which trailers go with which loading and unloading quays be placed
• Monitor the capacity of the courtyard and ensure that smooth flow of trailers and goods
• Monitoring the temperatures of parked lorries and identifying anomalies in good time
• Communicating on a daily basis with drivers, dispatchers and colleagues within the company

Profile

Who are we looking for?

• You preferably have several years’ experience in logistics, warehousing or operations
• You’re analytical and have a good grasp of planning ahead and anticipating
• You’re good at setting priorities and keeping track of things when several matters are happening at once
• You are able to cope with stress, independent and responsible
• You take a proactive approach and enjoy seeking out solutions and improvements
• You are a confident communicator and enjoy working with a variety of colleagues and external partners
• You speak and write Good Dutch and have a good basic understanding of French and English
• Knowledge of additional languages is a bonus
• You have a a good knowledge of Excel
• You are willing to work in 2 teams to work:
  • Early shift: 06:00 – 14:00
  • Late shift: 2.00 pm – 10.00 pm
