Teamlead Warehouse

Function

You will combine an operational role with a coaching role, whilst maintaining a focus on quality, safety and teamwork. You will work in a close-knit, small-scale environment with an open and transparent culture of communication, where initiative is valued and where you will help make a difference to the day-to-day logistics flow.

• You will manage a team of warehouse staff, allocate tasks and monitor progress.
• You will oversee the scheduling of goods receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• You will ensure that the warehouse is kept tidy and organised, that safety standards are maintained, and that procedures are followed.
• You identify bottlenecks in the operational flow and actively contribute ideas for improvements.
• You communicate effectively with internal departments such as logistics, customer service and transport.
• You step in yourself where necessary and maintain a visible presence on the shop floor.

Profile

• You have experience in warehousing, logistics or stock control.
• You have proven leadership skills and are able to motivate, manage and hold a team to account where necessary.
• You work in a structured and meticulous manner and maintain a clear overview, even during busy periods.
• You communicate clearly and openly, and work well with colleagues and other departments.
• You have a practical approach and are solution-oriented.
• You are familiar with standard warehouse processes and, preferably, with stock and goods management systems.
• You speak and write Dutch fluently; knowledge of other languages is an advantage in an international context.
• You are willing to be based at the workplace in Kortenberg and will be working in an environment where flexibility and commitment are important.
