Function

• You will be involved in high-quality residential projects, ranging from new-build homes to renovations.
• You actively contribute ideas on architectural solutions that perfectly combine functionality and aesthetics.
• Drawing up implementation dossiers and preparing planning applications, with meticulous follow-up.
• You will be in direct contact with clients and guide them through the entire design process.
• You’ll be part of a small team where ideas are shared and collaboration is key.

Profile

• You have at least 3 years’ experience as an architect.
• You have experience with residential new-build and renovation projects.
• You have excellent communication skills and feel at ease dealing directly with customers.
• You enjoy taking on responsibility and working independently on your cases.
• You contribute creative ideas and have an eye for both architecture and functionality.
• You speak and write Dutch fluently; a knowledge of French would be an advantage.
• Experience with Vectorworks is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• You are open to working as a self-employed person or freelancer.

You’ll be joining an enthusiastic team of around five colleagues, where lines of communication are short and everyone supports one another. There is plenty of scope for taking the initiative, and you’ll be given the confidence to take on responsibility, without ever having to go it alone. Thanks to close collaboration with colleagues, engineering firms and an in-house interior designer, you’ll work on well-thought-out, end-to-end projects that bring together architecture, engineering and finishing touches.

The projects are mainly located within the Mechelen, Leuven and Brussels triangle and range from high-quality new-build homes and renovations to SME projects and occasional student projects. Each project is handled on a personalised basis and offers a variety of tasks. In addition to design and technical development, the full scope of work also includes coordination, site supervision and, on occasion, interior integration. The informal working atmosphere, shared lunches, regular team-building activities and professional inspiration sessions ensure that colleagues not only work together but also make a point of spending time with one another.
