Automation engineer

Function

As an Automation Engineer, you are the driving force behind this company's automated production environment. You ensure that installations function optimally, develop improvements and provide support where necessary to keep everything running smoothly technically.

Responsibilities

• Perform adjustments and validations within PLC/SCADA environments
• Detecting, analysing and resolving technical faults
• Creating and updating technical documentation
• Connecting and configuring hardware in the production environment
• Provide technical support to maintenance technicians

Profile

In addition, you recognise yourself in the following:

• You are interested in automation and want to develop further in this field
• Knowledge of Siemens software (including TIA Portal) is an asset, but not a must
• You work analytically, think solution-focused and remain a critical thinker
• You are energised by optimisation: both preventive and corrective maintenance motivates you
• PLC controls, automation and electrical installations hold few secrets for you - or you are driven to learn this quickly
• You work independently and feel good in a team
• You are responsible, hands-on and show perseverance
• You are fluent in Dutch and communicate fluently in English
