CNC Programmer

Function

• You set up, operate and programme CNC lathes.
• You’ll be working on unique products and small production runs, which means your job offers a great deal of technical variety.
• You read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• You programme machines independently on the basis of technical drawings.
• You decide for yourself which tools and clamping arrangements are most suitable.
• You actively contribute ideas on efficient and high-quality machining techniques.
• You ensure the quality and accuracy of your finished products.
• You ensure that the workplace is tidy, organised and safe.

Profile

• You have a keen interest in technical matters and possess good spatial and technical understanding.
• You have experience of programming and setting up CNC machines independently.
• You can easily read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• You have a good knowledge of materials and machining techniques.
• You work accurately and have an eye for detail.
• You are quality-conscious and take responsibility for your own work.
• You are able to work independently, but also enjoy working as part of a close-knit team.
• You value order, tidiness and a well-organised workplace.
• You are keen to further develop your technical knowledge.
